This Dessert:
The Rock Moshe Hit
Bnei Yisroel lost their supply of water in the Midbar, Hashem told Moshe to ask the rock for water, Moshe went to a pile of rocks and hit the rock which then gave them water.
What you need:
Ingredients
1 recipe fudgy brownies
Neutral-colored toppings (ex. Brown sprinkles, cocoa powder, powdered sugar)
2 tablespoons blue frosting
Things
Piping bag with a small round tip
Big platter
How to make it:
Make brownies according to your recipe, you might want to take it out of the oven a couple of minutes early to make sure they are fudgy.
Let cool.
Using your hands scoop out 1-2 tablespoons of brownie at a time and roll into balls.
Roll the balls in the topping (or toppings) of your choice. If the toppings aren’t sticking, sprinkle the balls lightly with water and try again.
Arrange the brownie balls in a pile on one side of the platter.
Fill the piping bag with blue frosting.
Pipe a river flowing out from one of the middle rocks. Add branches.
A Brownie Recipe:
Fudgy Brownies
Ingredients
7 tablespoons canola oil
1 ½ cups sugar
¾ cups cocoa
¼ rounded teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs, cold
½ cup flour
Directions
Heat the oven to 325℉.
Combine oil, sugar, cocoa, and salt in a medium mixing bowl.
Add vanilla extract.
Add eggs one at a time. Beating vigorously after each egg.
When the batter is fully combined, thick and shiny beat in the flour.
Beat an extra 40 - 50 times.
Grease an 8-inch square baking pan very well.
Spread batter evenly in the greased pan.
Bake for 20 - 35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with just a few large crumbs attached.
