This Week's Parsha
Vayechi
This Dessert:
Yaakov’s Bracha to Yehuda
Yaakov gives each Shevet a bracha. He tells Yehuda that his family will always rule – they will hold the scepter.
What You Need:
Ingredients
12 pretzel sticks (or however many you need)
About ¾ cup white melting chocolate
12 large white nonpareil or other round candy (one per pretzel)
Things
Parchment paper
How to Make It:
Lay down a sheet of parchment paper on the counter.
Melt the chocolate using your preferred method (double boiler or microwave).
Transfer to a cup.
Dip each pretzel individually into the chocolate as far as you can go. Shake gently as you pull it out and tap it on the edge of the cup to remove excess chocolate. Place it on the parchment paper.
Top the end of each pretzel with a nonpareil while the chocolate is still wet.
Let the chocolate solidify. To speed up the process you can place the pretzels in the freezer.
